Ronit Gur Ronit Gur is a known Israeli Jewish Ritual Textile artist. Israeli born Ronit Gur studied painting and art in Jerusalem and then continued her studies at the Art College of the Western Galilee where she lives now. Ronit and her husband Shlomo work hand in hand and while Ronit is the creative mind Shlomo looks after the technical and commercial side of their Judaic art studio. Ronit Goor is an accomplished fabric artist and creates these magnificent Judaic textiles in a work shop in the back of their family home. Today Ronit Goor designs and paints exclusive Judaic items on silk and other textile fabrics like precious contemporary Tallits and Tallit bags, Challah covers, Plata covers, and many more that you will see when browsing Ronit Gur's section in our website. All of Ronit Judaic art work is functional and exquisitely hand-made expressing an innovative approach towards traditional Jewish motifs. Ronit Goor's artwork often combines the subject of Jerusalem with passages from the Bible in dazzling colors. Here in her studio Ronit produces exclusive Judaic ritual objects like prayer shawls fashioned from silk and embroidery; and painted and embroidered Challah and Matzah covers, Blech covers and various meaningful pictures with themes found in Jewish tradition.
