Influenced by his childhood experience watching his father work with polyester resins building boats in Netanya, Gal Carmi decided to create artistic gift items using resins and metals loving the translucent look of the resin he uses. After graduating the Bezalel Institute of Art, he began illustrating books. Today with the help of his wife, Shoshanna, he creates delightful, colorful wind chimes and hamsas.
