Inbal Byron's products
Israeli artist Inbal Jakob-Byron lives in Metulah in the upper Galilee. Inbal is the Hebrew name for the clapper inside the bell that makes it ring.
Inbal first fell in love with the arts as a little girl, spending hours and hours painting, sculpturing, and dressing up while using her imagination. At the age of 14 Inbal moved with her family to London, and spent her time visiting galleries, museums and the rich markets the city had to offer.
Back in Israel Inbal took artistic education in a Tel-Aviv college, a course in which Inbal could combine her love for children together with her passion for arts. After finishing her studies, she worked for 5 years as an arts teacher in an elementary school in Tel-Aviv, and lived in a small bachelor's apartment situated on a central artery of the city.
Inbal relates: after five years of running from one job to the other, hanging out in pubs, parties, mixing with friends and going from one complicated relationship to another, I felt I needed a change in my life. I packed my things and left for India with an open ticket for one year. There, I met my future husband, Amit, and after returning to Israel we moved to the Galilee. After several months of daily visits to the local running stream and waking up to the sound of birds tweeting, I started creating once again. The feeling was wonderful and two years later I opened my small studio in the main street of Metula. Today I live for and off my art and tell whoever is willing to hear: It's important to try and dare.
Sitting in her studio facing Mount Hermon and having what she calls ''colorful thoughts'' Inbal started to work with Fimo, Polymer clay, and discovered Millefiori. Millefiori or the craft of thousand flowers, being an ancient Italian craft technique was employed in the past with glass. The outcome of this art is a colored design that although it is repeated many times, makes each piece slightly different. Assisted by her husband Amit she produces Colorful and inspiring items for everyday use that are vibrant bright and cheerful such as Chamsa key chains, humorous magnets, coasters, and letters. Many of her unique pieces will make great Simcha favors that the guests of your event will carry back and use while remembering the special date. Inbal knows that her handcrafted pieces will get a smile on your face and add color even to a rainy day. Enjoy the multicolored products by Inbal Byron when surfing this section and you will understand why she named her studio colorful thoughts. Please do not hesitate and let us know about your upcoming event and let Inbal prepare a party favor for you.
