Nurita Armony, an Israeli born and raised artist, has been working in various fields of the arts and crafts industry for over 25 years, specializing in Ketubahs calligraphy, embroidery and gold and silver crafting. In addition, she works as an exhibiting artist and jewelry designer, combining her various artistic skills.
Over a period of seven years, Nurita lived and studied in Italy, Holland and Singapore. Her artistic studies included: Classic painting and drawing at the Art Academy of Milan, Italy; Oil and Acrylic painting at the De vrije Academie of Hague, Holland; and Gemology and Gold and Silver crafting in Singapore. Each place Nurita visited added ethnografical insight to her artistic Ketubah designs.
Nurita Armony's strong connections with her artwork and Jewish identity, have kept her exploring the many facets of Ktubahs in Judaica and its different artistic expressions. During her travels with her family, she kept her strong ties to the Jewish community, incorporating her artwork to their diverse lifestyles.
Nurita's vast knowledge and expertise lead her to her finest work, the delicate making of the Ktubah. In each Ktubah, Nurita Armony incorporates all her skill, experience and unique style, genuinely creating unique, exquisitely hand-painted Ktubahs. Each Ktubah by Nurita is carefully crafted with Hebrew calligraphy, bringing together traditional designs and contemporary images. Nurita is also creating heirloom Chupah, wedding canopies that are exquisitly personalizrd and is so chosen have a matching design to the Ketubah that the couple purchased.
Today in her rural home in Israel Nurita Armony started producing individually designed jewelry that again show her superb craftmanship.
